Central Entity

Source Context
The identity and commercial focus that explain why a site is a legitimate source for a topic. Source context gives each page a relevant point of view instead of treating every query as interchangeable.
Central Search Intent (CSI)

Semantic Content Network (SCN)

Information Tree

Topical Consolidation

Contextual Vector

Contextual Structure
The answer-format specification for a section: paragraph, list, table, citation, image, or another component chosen to fit the question. Structure should clarify the entity-attribute relationship rather than decorate the page.
Passage Ranking
The evaluation of self-contained passages that can answer specific questions within a document. A direct sentence, clear heading, and supporting context help a passage stand on its own.
In-Content Citation
The practice of attaching a source to the sentence or table cell it supports, with enough identifying detail for the reader to evaluate the claim. Contextual citations are stronger than a detached list of source names.
